How much does the terra-track cost on claas combines?:-?

Someone I know has just got a 580TT with a 30 foot headerr ready for this season and all I can say is it cost a hell of a lot

my local farm has got a 580 with them too but i forget to ask how much they cost

I looked on the web yesterday but couldnt really find any figures im afraid

Our local Claas dealer came into our yard today so i asked - he told me on a new combine tracks are £18,000 extra, he also says converting a combine on traditional tyres to terra tracks is not practical nor economic - major components such as gearing, suspension and the chassis are different for the tracked version..

definately worth it though - more traction and less compaction!
